• 13 years of mechanical design/manufacturing experience.
• Experience in machining, fabrication, special-purpose machines, industrial equipment, or precision components.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models, parts, assemblies, and detailed 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
• Develop new product designs and modify existing designs based on customer and project requirements.
• Prepare GA drawings, fabrication drawings, machining drawings, assembly drawings, and BOMs.
• Apply GD&T, dimensional tolerances, surface finish, fits, and material specifications.
• Ensure designs are suitable for manufacturing, machining, fabrication, assembly, and inspection.
• Perform basic engineering calculations related to dimensions, loads, materials, fits, and mechanical components.
• Select suitable materials, standard components, fasteners, bearings, seals, and other mechanical elements.
• Review designs for functionality, manufacturability, cost, quality, and reliability.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase, and Assembly teams for design-related issues.
• Support production during prototype development, first-off inspection, and manufacturing trials.
• Analyze and resolve design and manufacturing problems through engineering changes.
• Prepare and maintain BOMs, drawing revisions, engineering change notes, and design documentation.
• Incorporate customer feedback and engineering changes into drawings and 3D models.
• Conduct design reviews and participate in DFM/DFA activities.
• Maintain revision control and ensure drawings are released per company procedures.
• Assist in prototype development and testing of new products.
• Ensure designs comply with customer specifications, engineering standards, and quality requirements.
