Job summary

Anglo-Eastern Ship Management in Mumbai seeks a dedicated Crew Coordinator to manage official communications with vessels, seafarers, agents, and flag authorities. You will maintain contact with officers and crew joining the group, update the crew system with seafarer status, and ensure timely PEME completion and certifications linked to joining.

You will initiate travel orders, monitor travel tickets, and track post-joining activities such as flag licenses, deductions, early relief, and family

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate with vessels, seafarers, agents, and flag/license authorities.
• Maintain direct contact with officers and crew joining the group of vessels.

• Ensure training and PEME are completed and certifications linked to joiners.
• Initiate travel orders and verify travel tickets.
• Track post-joining follow-ups: flag licenses, deductions, early relief, family joining expenses.

Job description

To Coordinate and communicate with the vessels /Seafarers/Agents and Flag License

In charge of all official communication to the vessel, agents and technical management offices,

consulates, and other offices.

• Maintain direct contact with officers / ratings / supernumerary lined up to join the group of
• vessels assigned. Updating the crew system for seafarer status to upload RPSL Data.
• Ensure correct training is completed economically. Also, PEME completed in time and certificates connected to joiner in original.
• Initiation of travel orders and checking of Travel tickets summary
• Keeps track of all follows up post joining (Flag Licenses, Deductions, Early relief, family joining expenses etc.
• Maintain FPE – KPI. Keep the expiry list, vessel schedule, safe manning check and overdue list, excess to budget list updated in the crewing system
• Travel budgets - Plan and club crew changes to ensure economic efficiency
