To handle all aspects of MHR Dept. and other HR tasks - like recruitment, planning and deployment of seafarers. FPM oversees MHR Dept. activities and staff ensuring compliance of established Company's policies.
In-charge of all respective personnel matters for Pool of vessels assigned. Conduct / participate in pool meetings on daily basis and closely co-ordinate with the Pool Manager / Director on all ongoing assignments/recruitment and all crewing matters. Maintain direct contact with sea staff on leave and advise/prepare them with regard to their next assignment. Supervise MPO's on :- i) Co-ordination with Head office /agents. ii) Cost optimization crew travel - relief plans /family joining. iii) Processing of crew documents license, certificates iv) Disposal of crew early leave/extensions requests v) Crew mail dispatch. Scheduling assignments of ex and new sea staff, ensuring due consideration for vessel type and ship specific requirements. Senior officers' assignments to be in co- ordination with Director. Verify officers, families and ratings have proper and valid documentation with regard to the vessel they are joining and tenure on board. Keep updated record of licensing requirements for various flag states Monitor Statistics and Analysis of Inactive / Promotion / PIP/ Medicals of Sea staff.
