Job summary

Aparna Enterprises (AEL) seeks a Learning & Capability Development Lead to drive training programs across its manufacturing plants in India. The role focuses on identifying needs, designing technical and behavioral training, and ensuring standardized learning practices to boost quality, safety, and productivity.

You will work with the L&OD Head and plant leadership to implement the learning strategy, manage training calendars, induction programs, and ensure compliance across sites.

Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing training and capability development.
  • Experience identifying training needs (TNI) across plants.
  • Experience developing SOPs, manuals, and learning aids.
  • Experience maintaining training records and competency matrices.
  • Experience with statutory training compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the manufacturing learning and capability development strategy.
  • Conduct Training Needs Identification across plants.
  • Design, develop, and deliver technical, process, quality, safety, compliance, and behavioral training.
  • Develop and update training modules, SOPs, manuals, presentations, and learning aids.
  • Coordinate and execute the annual manufacturing training calendar across all plant locations.
  • Deliver induction and onboarding programs for new manufacturing employees.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, observations, and on-the-job evaluations.
  • Maintain training records, MIS, competency matrices, and statutory training compliance.
  • Collaborate with Plant Heads, Functional Heads, HR, and Subject Matter Experts to address capability gaps.
  • Support competency mapping, multi-skilling, cross-functional learning, and succession development initiatives.
  • Travel extensively across manufacturing plants to deliver training and monitor implementation.
  • Drive a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence across manufacturing operations.
  • Experience in manufacturing, construction materials, cement, RMC, building materials, or similar industries is preferred.

Job Purpose
