Job summary

H G Infra Engineering (HGIEL) seeks a procurement and contracts professional to manage end-to-end procurement, tendering, and subcontractor coordination for railway, metro and highway projects. You will handle RFQs, vendor negotiations, and contract documentation to ensure on-time delivery and compliance.

The role focuses on structural and earthwork packages, BOQ analysis, and robust cost management in EPC environments. Local/site experience in Rajasthan may be preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• End-to-end procurement and tendering for projects.

Job description

1. Role Objective :

To manage procurement and subcontracting of civil structure(MJB, MNB, RUB,ROB,Via-Duct, Sub-Ways, Elevated section etc), Building and earthwork packages, ensuring cost optimization, timely availability of resources, and compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements for Railway, Metro & Highway projects.

2. Key Responsibilities :

3. Key Skill Requirements :

• a. Structural works (RCC Girders, Pier, MJB/MNB/RUB/ROB, PSC, Elevated section, Building works)


• b. Earthwork (cut/fill, embankment, soil types, Blasting, Drilling etc)

• Expertise in:


• 1. BOQ and rate analysis


• 2. Preparation and Floating RFQs to vendors.


• 3. Vendor negotiation and finalisation


• 4. Preparation of PCC/NFA/LOI.


• 5. Civil structures drawing understanding.


• 6. Contract management


• 7. Good coordination with cross-functional teams


• 8. Proficiency in Excel (comparison sheets, cost tracking)
