Job summary

Ramiya Constructions in Delhi is seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead end-to-end procurement and tendering for road/infrastructure projects. The role requires developing strategies, supplier evaluation, and skilled negotiations to meet project budgets and timelines.

You will coordinate across project, stores, finance and execution teams, ensuring uninterrupted material supply and compliant procurement processes. Fluency in MS Excel and market-rate analysis is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement for construction/infrastructure projects.
• End-to-end tendering, estimation and procurement experience preferred.
• Strong negotiation and supplier evaluation skills required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for construction projects.
• Manage procurement of civil construction materials, equipment, machinery, consumables and services.
• Identify, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers, vendors and subcontractors.
• Obtain and compare quotations, prepare comparative statements and finalize vendors.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules and commercial conditions.
• Ensure timely procurement as per project requirements and approved budgets.
• Monitor purchase orders, material delivery, quality and vendor performance.
• Develop and maintain a reliable vendor/supplier database.
• Coordinate with project, stores, finance and execution teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
• Ensure procurement is carried out in accordance with company policies and approved budgets.
• Tendering: study tender documents, BOQ, drawings, specifications, GCC/SCC and contract conditions.
• Prepare and review tender submissions for road/infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with technical, commercial and project teams for tender preparation.
• Identify scope, exclusions, risks and commercial implications in tender documents.
• Prepare tender queries and seek clarifications from clients/consultants wherever required.
• Assist in determining competitive and commercially viable bid prices.
• Maintain records of tender opportunities, submissions and outcomes.
