Job summary

Avaada Energy seeks a procurement professional to manage end-to-end sourcing for MMS, tracker systems, structural steel, and related components. The role focuses on developing strategies, issuing RFQs, negotiating contracts, and building a qualified vendor base to ensure timely delivery and cost control.

Candidate should have engineering or related degree with MBA preferred and strong SAP/ERP and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end procurement of MMS, Tracker Systems, structural steel, ZAM/Galvalume, HDG and Fencing related components.
• Develop sourcing and procurement strategies based on project requirements, budget and execution schedules.
• Float RFQs, evaluate technical/commercial offers and conduct price and contract negotiations.
• Develop and manage qualified vendors, ensuring competitive pricing, quality and timely delivery.
• Monitor steel/commodity prices and implement effective cost-saving and price-risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with Engineering, QA/QC, PMO, Projects and Finance for timely procurement and execution.
• Track PO, manufacturing, inspection, dispatch and site delivery status.
• Resolve vendor quality, delivery and commercial issues and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain procurement MIS, project-wise material trackers and vendor performance reports.
