Job description

Hands-on exposure on automation projects, SPM, Conveyers, Pneumatic Systems, Jigs & Fixtures, Material Selection, Component selection software skill like AutoCAD, PLC/SCADA/MES.

Proven track record delivering Capex & Opex projects from design to commissioning.

Technical Skills

1.Concept design according to process requirement with cost effective, Risk Assessment, safety concepts, safety distance calculation, Heater Selection according to requirement

2.Calculation, electrical drawing, Preparing BOM of the project. Selection of Devices like PLC, Switch gears, Sensors, servo motor, induction motor, Robot, LVDT Load cell, motors, camera selection, special connectors, temperature controller, Heaters & Thermocouple.

3.Understand the user technical Inputs, concept development of electrical systems and machine electro-mechanical requirement to meet their needs.

4.Coordinate with other disciplines (Mechanical, Software, Production and Purchase), client and other supplier to develop a clash free system design and finalize the clients requirement.

5.Preparation of Design Approval Drawing and Document with the support of Mechanical and software team. Preparation of concept Function Block Diagram, Single Line Diagram, Control panel Layout and schematic diagrams, I/O lists and BOM. Responsible for sizing of electrical equipment, Machine safety system, Cable Routing, cable sizing and layout.

6.Design the Electrical Systems of panel and Machine suitable to standards like IEC standard and CE compliance. Support the testing Personals during the product testing, involved in module testing and assist in solving critical End user Site cases.

7.Software Known: Eplan p8 2.8 wiring Software, layout and fabrication drawing for control cabinet in AutoCAD software.

Key Responsibilities

1) Budgeting & Reporting

• Prepare and manage project budgets, capex proposals, and ROI/NPV analyses.
• Track KPIs weekly/monthly; present dashboards to management and implement corrective actions. Adherence of project completion on time with cost effective

2) Project Management

• Lead Capex projects: equipment selection, layout, utilities sizing, FAT/SAT, installation, commissioning, ramp-up, and handover.
• Create and manage project charters, schedules (MS Project), budgets, scope, risks, and stakeholder communication.
• Execute line expansions, upgrades, and automation (MES/SCADA/PLC) for yield and throughput improvement.
• Coordinate with Process/Quality/EHS for technology transfers and new product introductions (cells/modules/packs).
• Drive energy efficiency projects, waste heat recovery, and sustainability initiatives.

3) Reliability & Continuous Improvement

• Lead KAIZEN/TPM/PokaYoke initiatives to reduce chronic losses and improve OEE (Availability, Performance, Quality).
• Use data analytics (trend charts, Pareto) to prioritize corrective actions and cost-of-poor-quality reduction.
