Job summary

ACG World in India seeks a skilled maintenance engineer to oversee CNC and robotics systems, drive predictive and preventive maintenance, and lead equipment upgradation projects. You will troubleshoot complex automation, work with various controllers, drives and PLCs, and ensure high equipment reliability.

The role demands hands-on experience with Siemens, Fanuc, and Mitsubishi platforms, and the ability to guide SOPs and training for junior staff.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years in maintenance of CNC machinery and robotics.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, electronics and mechanical systems.
• Hands-on experience with CNC controllers, spindles, drives and automation components.

Responsibilities

• Oversee CNC and robotics maintenance projects to improve uptime and MTTR.
• Apply predictive and preventive maintenance to complex plant equipment.

Job description

• Ability to oversee CNC and Robots maintenance, projects including retrofitting, reconditioning of plant equipment to increase plant uptime, MTTR, MTBF, equipment upgradation, operational costs.
• Primary responsibilities

Strategic and planning

Ability to apply CNC electrical, electronics and robotics technology concepts to the maintenance environment to improve effectiveness of electrical, electronic robotics maintenance activities.

Functional

Core:

• Demonstrates advanced technical knowledge of more than one trade area( eg: mechanical, electrical, electronic, robotics) and oversee multiple incidents & repair activities involving upgradation of equipments, process.
• Ability in improving maintenance operations along with Troubleshooting, Predictive Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance
• Ability in Maintenance & troubleshooting of CNC machines like DMG MORI, Makino, Mazak, BFW, Doosan, ELB, Kent, Studer, Fanuc Robodrill, Hwachion, Juaristi, Hurco, Imeca, Sugami, Paragon, Glidemaster
• Ability to work and h ands on experience of Servo Motor replacement with drive , Testing of servo motors & drive on separate testing panel, Spindle motor, Servo motor parameter setting and enabling, zero referencing etc.
• Ability to work on various controller Likes

• Ability t o Work on PLC and Automation- Siemens S7-300, S7-1200 , S7-1500, S7-200SMART, Mitsubishi GX works2, GX works3, GT designer, FUJI, SYNTEC, BACKOFF
• Ability t o develop and implement new PLC programs, HMI interfaces, and Servo Drive configurations tailored for automotive and industrial applications to enhance automation and process control for LCA (Low cost automation)
• Ability t o Work on Motion Controller, PLC, Servo Drive and Servomotor, Induction Drives and other related Components. Handling the Servo Solutions to specific applications through the AC/DC servomotors and Servo Drives. Study of Special purpose applications. Testing and Troubleshooting of servomotor.
• Ability t o w ork on Plating Scada system – Wintek and advance
• Ability t o w ork on Heat Treatment – IGBT and RLC logic based controllers
• Ability t o w ork and hands on experience on Plating rectifiers Kraft powercon, Gtec – IGBT and Thryister base
• Ability t o w ork and hands on experience on MHE Autostore (Metafold and Craftsman) – operation, Maintenance, upgradation and retrofitting
• Ability to perform vibration analysis, condition monitoring and reliability engineering to ensure that an asset shall operate to a defined standard for a defined period of time in a defined environment.
• Ability to review & finalize quarterly requirements of spares and takes action with the purchase dept. either directly or through Plant Head on the short falls or for the excess procurements if any, for the disposal of non-moving materials.
• Ability t o w ork on SPM Machine, conventional machines, DG Set, Air Compressor, EOT Cranes, Sub station.
• Knowledge on mechanical systems including Hydraulic and Pneumatic Valve,circuit etc.
• Ability to Enhanced service & equipment reliability by executing cost saving initiatives, improving workflow and optimizing maintenance processes
• Root Cause Failure Analysis for each breakdown such as CAPA (Why-Why Analysis), Criticality analysis, DWM system, 5W1H and initiated corrective actions with the execution of annual shutdown jobs
• Planning for shutdown activities, optimizing power consumption and managing shifts, outsourcing & contract manpower
• Following holistic approach to safety, road safety, search & rescue, PTW, LOTO, PPE’s, WAH & Confined space entry(CSE), providing Tool Box Talk & SMP Training
• Basic knowledge of Switch Gear, both HT (up to 132kV) & LT (make: Siemens, Schneider, Voltas, ABB, Alstom) – SF6, Vacuum and Air Circuit breakers)
• Instruments like RTD, Thermocouples, Limit Switches, Rotary Limit switches, PT, FT, LT, Pneumatic Valves,
• Ability to work upon different systems like EMS,TS,EOHS,OHSAS,ISO9001
• Ability to work on SAP-Hands on SAP PM module

Ability to guide preparation of SOPs and other documents based on machine drawings and technical specifications to drive knowledge penetration to lower levels.

• Ability to give training to new joinee.
• Ability in making OPL and SOP of maintenance activities.
• Ability to design dexterity center for training purpose.
