Job summary

Nexus Manpower Solutions is seeking a high-performing sales professional with experience in international freight forwarding, specifically Air and Ocean, to drive new corporate client acquisitions and revenue growth.

You will coordinate with operations, finance and senior management, negotiate favorable rates, manage invoicing, and forecast monthly/quarterly revenue across all products.

Qualifications

• Experience in international Freight Forwarding, handling Air and Ocean products.
• Strong Excel, MIS, and reporting skills.
• Sales experience with international clients and knowledge of pricing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new corporate clients with international business of Air/Ocean.
• Follow up on invoicing and billing with customers and ensure credit limits are adhered to.
• Achieve annual revenue and customer/base/product base budgets.
• Close sales and assist in implementation, coordinating with operations, customer service and senior management.
• Forecast monthly and quarterly business and revenue for all products.
• Apply strong negotiation strategies to rates and service levels with customers.
• Liaise with Airlines/Shipping Lines, overseas counterparts, customs brokers, transport vendors, port authorities to source competitive pricing.
• Develop understanding of critical customers to aid retention.
• Communicate opportunities, challenges and pricing alternatives with Commercial and Operations teams.

Role & responsibilities

• q Acquisition of New corporate clients having international business of Air/Ocean.
• q Follow up on invoicing and billing with the customers and ensure the credit limit are adhered to
• q Achieving annual budget plan in terms of revenue & customer base/product base
• q Close the sale and assist in the implementation process linking in with operations, customer service and senior management teams Monthly & quarterly forecasting of business & revenue of all products
• q Strong negotiation strategies towards rates and service level with customers
• q Responsible for sales growth in the region and focus sector for the company
• q Liaise with Air Lines/Shipping Lines agents, Overseas Counterparts, Customs Brokers, Transport Vendors, Port Authorities Other Vendors to ensure competitive pricing is sourced
• q Develop strong understanding of the business of Critical customers to aid customer retention
• q Ensure effective communication with Commercial and Operations teams on any opportunities, challenges, and alternative options for improved pricing strategies

Preferred candidate profile

Sales professionals from international Freight Forwarding background. Must have handled Air and Ocean both the products. Good at excel, MIS and Reports.
