Job summary

Empower Resources in Nagpur District, Maharashtra, seeks an experienced manufacturing leader to drive the production of LFP battery modules and high-voltage packs. You will plan production, monitor line performance, manage manpower, and ensure safety and quality on the shop floor.

You will implement SOPs, lead NPI and line commissioning, and collaborate with Design, Quality, Supply Chain and Engineering to hit KPIs, OEE and cost targets. 9–12 years in battery/EV manufacturing preferred.

Qualifications

• 9 to 12 years of manufacturing experience, battery packs, EV, automotive, electronics or precision manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience in battery module/pack assembly, welding, torque-controlled assembly and electrical/EOL testing.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, Lean Manufacturing, OEE, problem-solving and ERP/MES systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute production schedules while achieving targets for output, OEE, yield, cycle time, productivity and cost.
• Lead module and pack assembly processes including cell sorting/matching, stacking, busbar/interconnect assembly, welding, insulation, BMS integration, enclosure assembly and EOL testing.
• Establish SOPs, work instructions, process discipline, LFP cell handling and EHS practices across the shop floor.
• Lead NPI, prototype/pilot builds, line commissioning, capacity ramp-up, process troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
• Manage manpower, shift deployment, production MIS and cross-functional coordination with Design, Quality, Supply Chain and Engineering.
