Job summary

Moonrider.ai Bengaluru is seeking a Production Supervisor for Lithium-ion battery pack assembly. You will supervise day-to-day assembly, ensure SOPs, cycle times, daily targets, and manage the production team on the shop floor.

Responsibilities include monitoring parameters, basic testing, identifying defects, coordinating with cross-functional teams, enforcing safety standards for Li-ion cells and BMS units, maintaining logs and supporting NPI and Kaizen/5S initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Lithium Ion Battery production and assembly.
• Hands-on experience with cell sorting, module stacking, busbar routing and BMS integration and battery testing.
• Proficient in using multimeters, insulation testers, IR meters to validate pack parameters.
• Ability to read wiring harness layouts and 2D/3D drawings.
• Strong communication to coordinate targets, handovers, and material requirements across plant teams.
• Knowledge of NPI and Kaizen/5S on the shop floor.

• Maintain daily production logs, rejection records, inventory tracking, and standard operational documentation.
• Support pilot runs, new product introductions (NPI), and continuous process improvement initiatives (Kaizen/5S) on the shop floor.

• Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate daily targets, handovers, and material requirements across plant management, stores, quality, and maintenance teams.
• Knowledge of new product introductions (NPI), and continuous process improvement initiatives (Kaizen/5S) on the shop floor.

Qualification: Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile / E&E and related fields.
