Empower Resources in Nagpur, India seeks a senior Mechanical/Electrical engineer to lead development and industrialization of large-format LFP battery modules and high-voltage packs from architecture through production release.

You will own product architecture, BMS integration considerations, DFMEA, DFM/ DFA, and manage cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturability and reliability issues during NPI, pilot builds, and transfer to manufacturing.

Formación

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or related engineering discipline; Masters an advantage.
• 9 to 14 years of product design/development experience, preferably in batteries, EV, automotive or electronics.
• Strong understanding of LFP cells, battery architecture, HV systems, BMS and thermal management.
• Proficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks, CATIA or Creo, with knowledge of GD&T and DFM/DFA.
• Strong experience in DFMEA, design validation, technical problem-solving and cross-functional project leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Lead product architecture and detailed design covering cell configuration, mechanical structure, electrical architecture, busbars, enclosure, HV interfaces and thermal management.
• Lead BMS integration, cell selection/qualification and development of battery pack electrical and communication architecture.
• Own BOMs, 2D/3D drawings, specifications, engineering documentation and design change management.
• Lead DFMEA, DFM/DFA, design reviews and validation covering electrical, thermal, mechanical, vibration, environmental and safety requirements.
• Support NPI, prototype/pilot builds and production transfer while resolving manufacturability, reliability and field issues with Production and Quality.

Job Summary:
