Job summary

Empower Resources in Nagpur district seeks a seasoned quality leader to establish and head the quality organization for LFP battery module and high-voltage pack manufacturing. The role focuses on product safety, reliability, traceability and regulatory compliance across the value chain.

You will build and govern QMS, drive process controls, lead PFMEA, APQP/PPAP, SPC/MSA, and align with Design, Production and suppliers to achieve top KPIs for quality and FPY.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or related engineering discipline.
• 10+ years of quality experience in automotive, EV, battery, electronics or high-reliability manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and preferably APQP, PFMEA, SPC and MSA.
• Hands-on experience with battery testing including capacity, IR/OCV, insulation resistance, HV and EOL testing.
• Strong expertise in 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, supplier/customer quality management and data-driven problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the QMS and quality standards covering incoming materials, in-process controls, final inspection and EOL testing.
• Establish cell-to-pack traceability and quality controls covering cell matching, welding, insulation, torque, assembly and electrical testing.
• Lead PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, APQP/PPAP and process/product audit systems to prevent defects and improve FPY.
• Lead supplier quality, customer complaints, 8D/root-cause analysis, corrective actions and reduction of defects, rework and COPQ.
• Lead the Quality team and coordinate with Design, Production and suppliers on validation, reliability, calibration, field issues and quality KPIs.
