A B.Tech, Diploma in Engineering, or similar technical qualification/background will be preferred.

The role covers procurement and vendor management across two Delhi Public Schools schools in Punjab.

  • Identify discrepancies or major cost differences and investigate the underlying reasons.
  • Explore alternatives such as repair vs. replacement, local fabrication vs. buying, or technically equivalent products.
Vendor Management & Negotiation
  • Identify and evaluate vendors and obtain competitive quotations.
  • Negotiate pricing, specifications, payment terms, delivery timelines and warranty conditions.
  • Prepare comparative statements and recommendations for management approval.
  • Monitor vendor performance, quality, delivery and service levels.
Other Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with school teams and vendors for timely execution of approved purchases and projects.
  • Support procurement related to infrastructure, facilities, electrical/mechanical equipment, civil works, IT and other operational requirements.
