Job summary

DEIC-L&T Precision Engineering & Systems IC in Kattupalli is seeking a seasoned professional with a BE degree and 5-10 years of experience in production planning and project coordination. The role involves reviewing scope, planning manpower, scheduling milestones, coordinating with purchasing and SCM, and delivering timely project completion with risk mitigation.

The candidate will work closely with production teams and management to ensure smooth operations and on-time delivery of project

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review scope of work and segregate defect list department wise.
• Estimate manpower and resources per production requirement.
• Prepare PERT chart and detailed schedule with milestone dates.
• Coordinate with purchase and SCM to ensure timely availability of manpower and materials.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly plans; monitor progress with S-Curve reports.
• Identify risks and prepare risk mitigation plans for projects.
• Propose better production methods and supervision improvements to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with SRM for timely closure of work and reports.

Job Description

1. Review scope of work and segregate defect list department wise.2. Estimate of manpower and resources as per production requirement.3. Prepare PERT chart and detailed schedule with all the milestone dates for agreed scope of work.4. co-ordinate with purchase and SCM department and ensure timely availability of man and materials.5. Prepare daily, weekly and monthly plan.6. Prepare S-Curve and monitor the progress.7. Prepare and submit progress report to management and customer. 8. Monitor timely closure of work completion report in coordination with production team and SRM. 9. Identify the risk and prepare risk management plan and mitigation plan for the project.10. Identify and propose better production methods, or improve supervision methods for improvements and timely completion of projects.11. Identify the long lead items and coordinate with purchase department to ensure timely availability.
