Job summary

DEIC-L&T Precision Engineering & Systems IC in Coimbatore seeks a seasoned operations and manufacturing leader to own customer relationships and drive end-to-end product transfer initiatives. You will oversee the program from planning through on-time execution, coordinating with planning, purchasing, production, and logistics teams within a high-stakes environment.

The role demands 6–10 years of experience, BE/MBA qualifications, and strong skills in JIRA, NPIs, and project timelines.

Qualifications

• Own the overall customer relationship from an operations and manufacturing perspective.
• Lead product transfer activities (Factory Transfer / Site Transfer) and production localization.
• Develop, monitor, and drive project timelines, milestones, and on-time execution.
• Manage customer demand, forecasting, and production ramp-up plans.
• Plan manufacturing capacity, resources, and factory readiness to meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Planning, Purchasing, Warehouse, Production, Logistics, and Customer Service.
• Ensure material availability and supply chain readiness to support production schedules.
• Drive manufacturing readiness, infrastructure readiness, and operational launch activities.
• Manage customer delivery commitments and ensure on-time shipment performance.
• Plan and coordinate CAPEX requirements, approvals, and manufacturing investments.
