Job summary

DEIC-L&T Precision Engineering & Systems IC at Coimbatore Campus is seeking a program management support professional to ensure timely execution of customer requirements and to track production and project schedules.

The role involves coordinating with multiple departments, monitoring milestones, and maintaining dashboards to drive on-time delivery and issue escalation where needed. BE or MBA with 1–3 years’ experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BE or MBA required with relevant process industry exposure.
• 1–3 years of experience in program or project management.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support customer program management activities and ensure timely execution of customer requirements.
• Track production and project schedules and provide regular status updates.
• Monitor project milestones, key deliverables and action items for timely closure.
• Coordinate with Production, Planning, Engineering, Quality, SCM and other cross-functional teams.
• Support customer OTD (On-Time Delivery) monitoring and highlight potential delivery risks.
• Monitor schedule adherence against the approved production/project plan.
• Track open issues, risks and dependencies and follow up with respective owners for closure.
• Support escalation management by identifying delays and escalating issues to the appropriate level.
• Prepare and maintain daily/weekly program status reports and dashboards.
• Follow up on customer commitments, changes and priority requirements.
• Maintain program documentation, trackers, MOMs and action closure records.
• Support program reviews and ensure timely communication of status, risks and deviations to stakeholders.
