Job summary

DEIC-L&T Precision Engineering & Systems IC in India seeks a Project Coordinator with 6–10 years of electrical engineering experience to manage supplier interactions and internal cross-functional teams.

You will handle BoMs, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications; prepare procurement requests; and develop MS Project schedules while using PLM/ERP-LN tools. Travel to supplier sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electrical engineering with basic project management knowledge.
• Ability to read BoM, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.
• Experience coordinating with vendors and handling procurement requests.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint) and in creating reports.
• Willingness to travel to supplier locations in India as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and expedite tasks with suppliers and internal teams (Design, Quality, Supply Chain, Stores).
• Prepare project schedules using MS Project and track progress.
• Utilize PLM, ERP-LN and Concerto in project workflows.
• Prepare status reports and review presentations for stakeholders.
• Review BoMs, test instructions, wiring diagrams and drawings to ensure compliance.

• Able to comprehend Bill of Material (BoM), Test Instructions, Wiring diagram, Drawings, Specifications, QAP/QCP & ATP.
• Prepare statement of Requirement.
• Prepare Purchase and Sub-contracting requests.
• Coordinate and expedite tasks with supplier(s) and various internal functions like Design, Quality, Supply Chain, Stores, etc.
• Able to prepare project schedule, as required, in MS Project
• Hands-on experience on PLM, ERP-LN and Concerto.
• Hand-on experience in MS Office - Excel, Word & presentation.
• Prepare status reports and review presentation(s).
• Willing to travel to suppliers' locations in India, as per project requirement
