Job summary

DEIC-L&T Precision Engineering & Systems IC in Kattupalli is seeking an experienced engineer to oversee project planning and execution. You will review scopes, estimate resources, and develop detailed schedules with milestones.

Coordination across production, purchasing and SCM will be essential to ensure timely delivery and risk mitigation. The role requires a BE with 5–10 years of relevant experience and a strong focus on planning, reporting, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Review scope of work and segregate defect list department-wise.
• Estimate manpower and resources as per production needs.
• Prepare PERT chart with milestones and detailed schedule.
• Coordinate with Purchase and SCM to ensure timely availability of man and materials.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly plans.
• Prepare S-Curve and monitor progress.
• Submit progress reports to management and customers.
• Ensure timely closure of work completion reports with production and SRM.
• Identify risks and draft risk management and mitigation plans.
• Suggest improvements in production or supervision methods for timely completion.
• Identify long lead items and coordinate with Purchase for timely availability.

Job Description
