Job summary
DEIC-L&T Precision Engineering & Systems IC at Coimbatore Campus is seeking a capable project coordinator to support engineering project planning and execution within defined scope, timelines and objectives. You will coordinate new equipment implementation, track milestones, manage budgets, and collaborate with multiple functions to resolve technical issues and ensure timely deliverables.

- Familiarity with NPI processes and cross-functional coordination.
Responsibilities
- Support engineering project planning and execution as per defined scope, timeline and objectives.
- Coordinate new equipment implementation, installation, commissioning and qualification activities.
- Track project execution against approved schedules, milestones and action plans.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Quality, Maintenance, SCM, IT and suppliers for technical requirements and issue resolution.
- Support NPI activities and track NPI completion against committed timelines.
- Monitor NPI on‑time delivery and highlight risks or delays affecting project completion.
- Track NRE budget and support adherence to approved project budgets.
- Monitor engineering milestones, deliverables and validation activities and ensure timely closure.
- Maintain project trackers, technical documentation, action logs and milestone reports.
- Support technical issue escalation and follow up with respective stakeholders for closure.
- Coordinate with equipment suppliers/OEMs for technical clarifications, installation and qualification support.
- Support project reviews and management reporting with project status, risks, delays and recovery actions.
- Ensure proper handover of completed engineering projects to Production/Maintenance with required documentation and training.
