Job summary

The Lead – Planning – Site at PeopleStrong is responsible for developing and managing the detailed construction schedule and planning framework for the project site. This role ensures integration of scope, cost, and time parameters to enable accurate monitoring and timely execution.

The incumbent provides planning support to execution teams, aligns with the master baseline, and contributes to project success through proactive progress tracking, forecasting, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Lead planning and scheduling experience for construction projects.
• Ability to translate scope into WBS and linked activities.
• Strong coordination with design, procurement and field teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop Level 2 and Level 3 project schedules aligned with baseline plans.
• Translate scope and BOQs into WBS and activities with durations.
• Coordinate inputs from design, procurement and execution teams.
• Prepare weekly and monthly look-ahead schedules and meetings.
• Monitor progress, calculate variances and forecast delays with mitigations.

Job Description

It provides planning support to execution teams, ensures alignment with the master baseline, and contributes to project success through proactive progress tracking, forecasting, and reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Develop detailed Level 2 and Level 3 schedules for the entire project scope using Primavera P6 or MS Project, in line with contractual timelines and baseline plans.
• Translate scope of work and BOQs into work breakdown structures (WBS) and logically linked activities, assigning durations, milestones, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, execution, and subcontracting teams to gather schedule inputs and ensure alignment between planning and field activities.
• Prepare weekly and monthly look-ahead schedules and conduct review meetings to highlight critical and near-critical activities requiring immediate attention.
• Monitor and update project schedules with actual progress data, calculate schedule variances, and forecast potential delays with mitigation proposals.
