Refex Industries is seeking an experienced Manager Logistics to oversee Fly Ash and Pond Ash transportation across Telangana, ensuring timely and cost-effective movement to Cement, RMC, Bricks/Blocks and Road Construction sectors.

The role requires 10+ years in relevant logistics, strong vendor networks, and deep knowledge of Telangana/Karnataka markets. Will coordinate with Sales, Ash Procurement and Operations, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Fly Ash / Pond Ash logistics and transportation.
• Strong vendor network with local transporters and fleet owners.
• Know-how of Telangana/Karnataka logistics markets; cement, RMC, bricks/blocks, road construction familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end logistics for Fly Ash and Pond Ash.
• Negotiate transportation rates and optimize costs.
• Track vehicle movement, turnaround times, deliveries and KPIs.
• Coordinate with Sales, Ash Procurement, Operations, Power Plants and Customers.
• Ensure compliance with transportation, safety and statutory requirements.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Manager Logistics to manage and oversee the transportation and logistics operations of Fly Ash and Pond Ash across Telangana.

The role involves ensuring the smooth, timely, and cost-effective movement of ash to customers in the Cement, RMC, Bricks/Blocks, and Road Construction sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end logistics and transportation operations for Fly Ash and Pond Ash.
• Ensure timely placement and movement of vehicles from source locations to customer destinations.
• Handle transportation requirements for customers in:
• Cement Plants
• RMC Plants
• Brick and Block Manufacturing Units
• Road and Highway Construction Projects
• Develop and maintain a strong network of local transporters, fleet owners, logistics vendors, and truck operators.
• Ensure vehicle availability as per daily and monthly business requirements.
• Negotiate transportation rates and optimize logistics costs.
• Track vehicle movement, turnaround time, deliveries, and operational performance.
• Coordinate with transporters and vendors to resolve operational and delivery-related issues.
• Build strong local connections to ensure smooth and uninterrupted logistics operations.
• Coordinate closely with Sales, Ash Procurement, Operations, Power Plants, and Customers.
• Monitor transporter performance and ensure adherence to agreed service levels.
• Prepare and maintain MIS related to vehicle placement, trips, transportation costs, and deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with transportation, safety, and statutory requirements.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in Fly Ash / Pond Ash logistics and transportation.
• Strong hands-on experience in managing bulk transportation operations.
• Excellent database and strong relationships with:
• Local Transporters
• Fleet Owners
• Logistics Vendors
• Truck Operators
• Strong understanding of the Telangana / Karnataka transportation and logistics market.
• Experience in logistics for Cement, RMC, Bricks/Blocks, or Road Construction will be preferred.
• Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple locations and transportation requirements simultaneously.
