Zepto is seeking a Manager II - Deputy Cluster Manager to own end-to-end operations for a cluster of 8–12 dark stores, spanning inbound to last-mile dispatch. You will lead Store Managers and large ground teams, ensure inventory accuracy, and drive KPI improvements across the network.

Qualifications

• Graduation and MBA preferred in Operations or Supply Chain.
• 3–6+ years in warehouse/dark store/fulfilment center ops with multi-site exposure.
• End-to-end warehouse ops knowledge from inbound to dispatch.
• Proven experience leading large ground teams across locations.
• Hands-on with dashboards, KPIs and data-driven reviews.
• Ability to execute in high-volume, high-pressure environments.
• Process-oriented with SOP enforcement and accountability.

• Drive excellence across inbound, putaway, picking, packing, and last-mile dispatch processes with strict adherence to SLAs.
• Own and optimize critical store KPIs - putaway TAT, receiving adherence, picking/packing efficiency, defect rates, damages, shrinkage, and overall cost metrics.
• Ensure high inventory accuracy across stores through strong control mechanisms, audits, and loss-prevention initiatives.
• Drive quality compliance across handling, storage, and dispatch processes while standardizing SOPs across all nodes.
• Lead Store Managers and large ground teams, ensuring manpower alignment across throughput demands and extended-hour store formats.
• Continuously improve throughput, reduce shrinkage and damages, and drive cost efficiencies across the cluster.
• Own operational performance reviews through structured dashboards, governance cadence, and metric-driven accountability.
