Job summary

Zepto is hiring for a Manager II - Deputy Cluster Manager to lead operational excellence across a cluster of dark stores. You will drive end-to-end warehouse processes from inbound to dispatch, manage large ground teams, and ensure SOP adherence with a strong focus on KPIs and cost efficiency.

The role requires graduation with MBA preferred in Operations or Supply Chain, and 3-6+ years in multi-site warehouse or fulfilment center operations.

Qualifications

• 3-6+ years in warehouse/dark store/fulfilment center operations with multi-site exposure.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end warehouse operations from inbound to dispatch.
• Experience leading large ground teams across multiple locations.
• Hands-on with dashboards, KPIs, and data-driven operational reviews.
• Process-oriented mindset with experience enforcing SOPs and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize store KPIs including putaway TAT, receiving adherence, picking/packing efficiency, damages and shrinkage.
• Ensure high inventory accuracy through controls, audits and loss-prevention.
• Drive quality compliance and standardize SOPs across all nodes.
• Lead Store Managers and large teams, ensuring manpower alignment across locations.
• Improve throughput, reduce shrinkage and drive cost efficiencies.
• Lead operational performance reviews with dashboards and governance cadence.

• Ensure high inventory accuracy across stores through strong control mechanisms, audits, and loss-prevention initiatives.
• Drive quality compliance across handling, storage, and dispatch processes while standardizing SOPs across all nodes.
• Lead Store Managers and large ground teams, ensuring manpower alignment across throughput demands and extended-hour store formats.
• Continuously improve throughput, reduce shrinkage and damages, and drive cost efficiencies across the cluster.
• Own operational performance reviews through structured dashboards, governance cadence, and metric-driven accountability.
