Job summary

HDFC ERGO General Insurance in India seeks an HR SPOC with 4-6 years of HR experience to partner with designated business units, drive onboarding, and align HR initiatives with business goals for faster productivity.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, analytical and communication skills, and the ability to handle employee relations, governance, and data-driven insights. MBA/PGDM in HR is preferred; this is a permanent, on-site position in North India.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR point of contact for designated business units.
• Understand business goals and align HR strategies to support them.
• Drive onboarding and assimilation for new hires to ensure faster productivity and engagement.
• Conduct HR interviews for entry and mid-level roles.
• Execute employee engagement activities across the business units.
• Address employee concerns, grievances, and conduct preliminary investigations where needed.
• Communicate policy updates and ensure consistent interpretation.
• Monitor discipline, attendance management, and contractual workforce governance.
• Use HR dashboards to track key metrics such as attrition, absenteeism, manpower costs, and productivity.
• Provide actionable insights and propose interventions based on data trends.
• Prepare monthly HRBP reports and share them with management.
