Zoho is seeking an experienced HR professional to manage end-to-end HR operations across automobile dealership operations. You will oversee recruitment, payroll coordination, employee lifecycle, engagement, performance management, training, and statutory compliance in a fast-paced dealership setting.

The role requires strong HR Generalist experience, exposure to automobile dealerships or automotive retail, and hands-on frontline workforce management and compliance expertise.

Competenze

  • Bachelor's degree in HR/BA/Commerce or related field.
  • Master's/MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.
  • 7–12 years of HR experience, preferably 8–12 years in HR Generalist/Operations.

Functional Area: Human Resources / HR Operations

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced HR professional to manage end-to-end HR operations across automobile dealership operations. The role will be responsible for recruitment, employee lifecycle management, payroll coordination, employee engagement, performance management, training, statutory compliance and employee relations.

The ideal candidate should have strong HR Generalist experience with exposure to automobile dealerships, automotive retail or related service industries, along with hands-on experience in frontline workforce management and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

Manage end-to-end recruitment and bulk hiring for Sales Executives, Service Advisors, Technicians, Customer Relationship Executives, Team Leaders and back-office positions.

Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirements and hiring plans.

Source candidates through job portals, employee referrals, consultants, social media and local hiring channels.

Conduct candidate screening, interview coordination and offer management.

Ensure timely onboarding and induction of new employees.

Employee Lifecycle Management

Manage onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions and employee separations.

Maintain employee records, HR documentation and personnel files.

Update and manage employee information in HRMS.

Conduct exit interviews and monitor employee attrition.

HR Operations, Attendance & Payroll

Monitor attendance, leave records, shift schedules and overtime.

Coordinate payroll inputs and ensure accurate employee data for salary processing.

Coordinate employee incentives, reimbursements and related documentation.

Prepare HR MIS reports covering manpower, attendance, recruitment and attrition.

Employee Engagement & Employee Relations

Plan and implement employee engagement and welfare initiatives.

Manage reward and recognition activities and employee engagement programs.

Address employee grievances and workplace concerns.

Support employee retention initiatives and maintain positive employee relations.

Performance Management

Coordinate performance appraisal and review processes.

Track employee confirmations, performance reviews and goal-setting activities.

Coordinate with department managers regarding employee performance and development needs.

Support talent development and succession planning initiatives.

Training & Development

Coordinate employee induction and training programs.

Facilitate sales, customer service, product and behavioural training programs.

Maintain training records and monitor training effectiveness.

Coordinate OEM training requirements and certification programs.

Statutory Compliance & Employee Relations

Ensure adherence to HR policies, labour laws and statutory requirements.

Coordinate documentation and compliance related to PF, ESI, PT, Gratuity, Maternity Benefits and other employee benefits.

Handle PF, ESI, PT and Gratuity calculations and statutory filings.

Support internal and external audits and compliance reviews.

Maintain healthy employee relations across Sales, Service, Spare Parts and support functions.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce or a related field.
  • Master's Degree / MBA / PGDM in Human Resources preferred.
  • 7–12 years of overall HR experience, preferably 8–12 years in HR Generalist / HR Operations roles.

Preferred Candidate Profile
  • Strong experience in HR operations and employee lifecycle management.
  • Hands-on experience in volume hiring and frontline workforce recruitment.
  • Good knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance.
  • Practical experience in PF, ESI, PT and Gratuity calculations and filings.
  • Experience in payroll coordination, attendance management and HR MIS.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage HR operations in a fast-paced, target-driven dealership environment.
  • Candidates with automobile dealership / automotive retail HR experience will be preferred.
