Etna Group in Indore, India, seeks an experienced HR professional to manage the complete HR function for a 150-200 employee organization. The role covers recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, and policy implementation.

You will drive employee relations, performance appraisal processes, and ensure compliance with Indian labour laws while partnering with senior management on talent and organizational development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 4+ years HR experience, preferably managing 100+ employees.
  • Strong experience in HR generalist/HR operations.
  • Good knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel and HRMS.
  • Ability to independently manage HR operations and work closely with senior management.
  • Experience in manufacturing, automotive, trading, distribution, or a similar operational environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete HR function for ~150-200 employees.
  • Handle end-to-end recruitment including planning, sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, joining.
  • Manage onboarding, documentation, probation, confirmation, transfers, promotions, exits.
  • Monitor attendance, leave, late coming, absenteeism, overtime, and discipline.
  • Coordinate with Accounts for monthly payroll and salary inputs.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and processes across attendance, leave, conduct, performance, recruitment, grievances.
  • Manage employee grievances, workplace conflicts, disciplinary matters, and employee relations.
  • Establish and manage performance appraisal and KPI/KRA process with department heads.
  • Ensure statutory and labour law compliance (PF, ESIC, gratuity, bonus, PT, minimum wages, POSH).
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR MIS, headcount, attrition, and attendance reports.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate employee training and engagement initiatives.
  • Work with management to improve productivity, accountability, retention, and HR processes.

Role & responsibilities
  • Manage the complete HR function for an organization of approximately 150-200 employees.
  • Handle end-to-end recruitment, including manpower planning, sourcing, screening, interviews, salary negotiation, offers, and joining.
  • Manage employee onboarding, documentation, probation, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exits.
  • Monitor attendance, leave, late coming, absenteeism, overtime, and employee discipline.
  • Coordinate with Accounts for monthly payroll, including attendance, incentives, deductions, overtime, and other salary inputs.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and processes covering attendance, leave, conduct, performance, recruitment, and employee grievances.
  • Manage employee grievances, workplace conflicts, disciplinary matters, and employee relations.
  • Establish and manage a structured performance appraisal and KPI/KRA process in coordination with department heads.
  • Ensure statutory and labour law compliance, including PF, ESIC, gratuity, bonus, professional tax, minimum wages, POSH, and other applicable requirements.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR MIS, organizational structure, headcount, attrition, and attendance reports.
  • Identify training and development requirements and coordinate employee training and engagement initiatives.
  • Work closely with management and department heads to improve employee productivity, accountability, retention, and overall HR processes.
Preferred candidate profile
