Job summary

Gold Seal SaarGummi India Pvt Ltd in Sriperumbudur is seeking an experienced HR Manager to manage day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, attendance, payroll, and compliance.

The role involves coordinating with production and maintenance, handling employee relations, performance management, and audits (IATF/ISO), with a preference for manufacturing/auto sector experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent.
• 58 years of relevant HR experience.
• Manufacturing / Automotive industry experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HR operations and labour compliance.
• Experience handling shop-floor manpower will be an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and employee-handling ability.
• Ability to independently manage HR activities.
• Experience in IATF 16949 / ISO audit requirements preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle activities.
• Handle recruitment and manpower planning for shop-floor, technical and staff positions.
• Coordinate sourcing, screening, interviews, selection and onboarding.
• Monitor employee attendance, leave, shift schedules and overtime.
• Coordinate payroll inputs and employee salary-related activities.
• Handle employee grievances and maintain good employee relations.
• Manage HR documentation, employee records and HR MIS.
• Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate EPF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages and Contract Labour compliance.
• Support employee engagement, welfare and retention initiatives.
• Plan and coordinate employee induction and training programs.
• Monitor training effectiveness and competency development.
• Coordinate employee performance appraisal and KPI/KRA activities.
• Support disciplinary procedures and implementation of HR policies.
• Handle contractor manpower documentation and compliance.
• Support POSH, grievance handling, code of conduct and workplace ethics activities.
• Coordinate HR requirements for customer, IATF and ISO audits.
• Prepare monthly HR reports, manpower reports, absenteeism and attrition analysis.
• Identify HR risks and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, EHS and other departments.
• Support management in manpower cost optimization and employee retention.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information
