Job summary

Oben Electric Vehicles seeks a senior HR Operations professional to drive end-to-end HR processes across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to exit. You will maintain data accuracy, manage payroll coordination, and ensure statutory compliance in a manufacturing/EV environment.

The role requires strong experience in HRIS, onboarding, and employee relations, with a hands-on approach to optimize HR workflows and policy implementation.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of experience in HR Operations/HR Generalist roles.
• Hands-on end-to-end employee lifecycle management.
• Experience in payroll, attendance, leave management and HRMS/HRIS.
• Knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance PF, ESI, PT, gratuity.
• Experience in HR MIS/reporting and employee relations, preferably from manufacturing/EV/engineering.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end HR Operations across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to exit.
• Handle employee onboarding, documentation and joining formalities.
• Maintain and update employee master data, personnel files, HRIS/HRMS records, and other HR documentation.
• Manage attendance, leave, shift, and employee database with accuracy.
• Coordinate with payroll teams for monthly payroll processing, salary inputs, deductions, incentives, and reimbursements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory requirements, PF, ESI, PT, gratuity, and other regulations.
• Handle employee queries and HR helpdesk related to payroll, leave, policies, benefits, and HR processes.
• Manage full & final settlement, exit formalities, relieving/experience letters, and exit documentation.
• Develop and improve operational processes.
• Coordinate performance management, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and employee movements.
• Partner with department heads and managers to resolve employee relations and HR operational issues.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance PF, ESI, PT, gratuity, etc.
• Experience in HR MIS/reporting and employee relations, preferably from manufacturing/automobile/EV/engineering industry.
