Job summary

WM Sports is seeking a Manager of Business Development to join our team. This work-from-anywhere-in-India role focuses on preparing pitches, meeting senior stakeholders, and managing client relationships.

Ideal candidates have 4–5 years in BD or related roles, excellent presentation and communication skills, and prior exposure to sports, events, consulting, or agency work. Travel within India may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Experience in sports, events, consulting or agency background preferred.
• Comfortable working independently and handling senior-level communication.
• Based in India, willing to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposals, presentations and other sales material for client pitches.
• Design-focused and comfortable creating presentations.
• Set up meetings with senior stakeholders at brands, rights holders/federations and government departments.
• Build and follow up on a pipeline of prospective clients.
• Act as point of contact for existing clients and maintain relationships.
• Coordinate with internal team for pitch preparation and follow ups.
• Maintain records of client communications and meeting pipeline.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing sales presentations and proposals, setting up meetings with senior people at brands, federations and government bodies, and managing relationships with our existing clients.

• Prepare proposals, presentations and other sales material for client pitches
• Should have good design sense and be comfortable working on presentations
• Set up meetings with senior stakeholders at brands, rights holders/federations and government departments
