Job summary

Vardhman Amrante Pvt Ltd in Ludhiana seeks an experienced Mall Maintenance Manager with a strong MEP background to oversee maintenance and engineering operations at Vardhman City Centre. You will ensure uninterrupted building systems, preventive maintenance and safety of all MEP services.

The ideal candidate has 8–12 years in MEP/building maintenance of malls or large commercial properties, with a Diploma/BE/BTech in Mechanical, Electrical or MEP engineering.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in MEP/building maintenance.
• Experience in malls or large commercial properties is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, HT/LT electrical systems, DG, lifts/escalators, plumbing and fire safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day MEP maintenance operations for the mall.
• Plan and monitor preventive and breakdown maintenance to maximise uptime.
• Supervise maintenance staff, technicians and external vendors.
• Monitor utility consumption and maintenance costs for energy efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, AMC contracts and schedules.
• Maintain records of equipment, maintenance activities and compliance.
• Coordinate with mall operations, security, housekeeping and tenants.
• Handle emergencies and resolve technical issues affecting operations.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Mall Maintenance Manager with a strong MEP background to manage the maintenance and engineering operations of Vardhman City Centre, Ludhiana. The role will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted functioning, preventive maintenance, safety and efficient operation of all MEP and building services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day MEP maintenance operations, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire & life safety and other building services.
• Plan and monitor preventive and breakdown maintenance to ensure maximum uptime of critical systems.
• Supervise maintenance staff, technicians and external agencies/vendors and ensure quality and timely execution of work.
• Monitor utility consumption, maintenance costs and equipment performance and identify opportunities for energy and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, safety standards, AMC requirements and inspection schedules.
• Maintain records of equipment, maintenance activities, breakdowns, AMC contracts and statutory compliances.
• Coordinate with mall operations, security, housekeeping, tenants and project teams for smooth functioning of the property.
• Handle emergency situations and ensure timely resolution of technical issues affecting mall operations.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Strong experience in MEP/building maintenance, preferably in malls, large commercial buildings, hotels or similar large-scale properties.
• Good knowledge of HVAC, HT/LT electrical systems, DG, lifts/escalators, plumbing, fire-fighting systems and BMS.
• Experience in managing technicians, vendors and maintenance contractors.
• Strong troubleshooting, vendor management and coordination skills.
• Candidates from mall/commercial property maintenance backgrounds will be preferred.
