Job summary

DR J. Sharan's Superspeciality Hospital LLP in Ranchi seeks an experienced MEP/Engineering Manager to lead day-to-day electrical and facility operations across hospital systems.

You will oversee DG, LT panels, HVAC and MGPS, ensure fire-safety compliance and coordinate with OT, WTP, RO, STP and ETP teams. The role requires hands-on maintenance leadership, supervision of technicians and contractors, and keeping thorough records and safety audits to meet NABH standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in hospital MEP and engineering operations.
• Experience with electrical systems, DG, LT panels, HVAC and MGPS.
• Knowledge of fire-fighting systems, fire audits and safety compliance.
• Exposure to OT engineering and utility systems like WTP/RO/STP/ETP.
• Experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Ability to supervise technicians, contractors and day-to-day activities.
• Exposure to NABH requirements and hospital safety standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day electrical and MEP maintenance activities.
• Supervise preventive and breakdown maintenance of critical hospital systems.
• Monitor DG, LT panels, HVAC, MGPS and other MEP installations.
• Ensure functionality and safety of fire-fighting and fire alarm systems.
• Coordinate maintenance of OT, WTP, RO, STP and ETP systems.
• Conduct/coordinate fire audits, safety checks and emergency preparedness.
• Manage engineering technicians, vendors and service contractors.
• Maintain engineering records, checklists and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with hospital safety, statutory and NABH requirements.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure uninterrupted hospital operations.
