Job summary

Sudisa Foundry in Jharkhand, India seeks a Maintenance Engineer to oversee preventive, predictive and routine maintenance across CNC, VMC, HMC and related equipment. The role includes safety planning, QA coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure plant efficiency and quality.

The candidate will drive Kaizen projects, supervise technicians, manage spare parts costs, implement IATF/EHS standards and report plant performance to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain workplace discipline and good employee relations.
• Responsible for preventive, breakdown, predictive and annual maintenance of machines.
• Ensure good working condition of CNC, VMC, HMC, hardness testing and VTL.
• Maintain good health of all equipment.
• Coordinate PLC programming, access control and critical process parameter tuning.
• Coordinate with QA for continuous improvement in product and package quality.
• Maintain QMS & GMP and 5S in respective areas.
• Plan for safety of personnel, facilities and equipment.

Role & responsibilities

• Maintain Work place Discipline and good employee relation.

• Responsible for the good working condition of CNC, VMC, HMC, hardness testing & VTL
• Responsible for maintaining good health of all equipments.
• Responsible for PLC programming, Access Control & Critical Process Parameter setting/fine tune.
• To coordinate with Q.A. department for continuous improvement in plant status regarding better product & package quality.
• Responsible for maintaining QMS & GMP (Good Maintenance Practices) & 5s in their respective Areas.
• Plan for safety of Personnel, facilities & equipment.
• Spare parts management planning, indenting and keeping tab on cost of spares.
• Deliver on all Plant Performance Criteria as per BSC.
• Train, Motivate and Build team bonding among employees.
• Drive Continuous Improvement and Kaizen projects with wide participation.
• Effective implementation of Quality Management Systems (IATF / EHS etc.).
• Report monthly Plant Performance to Senior Management.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation.
