Job summary

United Tyrekrafts seeks a maintenance specialist to ensure maximum availability and safe operation of VMC and CNC machinery. You will plan preventive maintenance, inspect machine conditions, and supervise technicians while maintaining records and KPIs.

Responsibilities include diagnosing faults, supporting installation and modification of new equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in machine shop maintenance in automotive, engineering, precision manufacturing, or heavy engineering industries.
• Knows preventive, predictive, breakdown maintenance processes.
• Familiar with CNC/VMC machinery maintenance and safety standards.

• Plan and execute daily to annual preventive maintenance of VMC/CNC machines.
• Supervise maintenance technicians and contractors during maintenance activities.
• Attend breakdowns of VMC, CNC, HMC and other machine-shop equipment and diagnose faults.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• To ensure maximum availability, reliability, and safe operation of VMC, CNC, and other machine-shop equipment through effective preventive, predictive, breakdown, and corrective maintenance.
• Plan and execute daily, weekly, monthly, and annual preventive maintenance of VMC/CNC machines.
• Conduct routine inspection of machine condition and identify potential failures.
• Check and maintain lubrication systems, coolant systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Supervise maintenance technicians and contractors during maintenance activities.
• Check and maintain lubrication systems, coolant systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Maintain maintenance records, equipment history, and spare parts inventory.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Prepare maintenance reports, KPIs, and equipment performance analysis.
• Support installation, commissioning, and modification of new machinery and equipment.
• Attend breakdowns of VMC, CNC, HMC, and other machine-shop equipment.
• Diagnose machine faults and restore machines within minimum possible downtime.
• Troubleshoot CNC alarms, servo alarms, spindle faults, axis movement problems, and ATC-related issues..

Required Skills & Technical Knowledge:

• 2-5 years of experience in machine shop maintenance in automotive, engineering, precision manufacturing, or heavy engineering industries
• Plan, schedule, and execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
• Mechanical troubleshooting of machine tools.
• Hydraulic and pneumatic systems maintenance.
• Ball screws, linear guideways, spindle assemblies, and gearbox maintenance.
• Lubrication systems and coolant management.
• Bearing replacement and alignment techniques.
• Preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
• TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
