Job summary

Empire Spices & Foods is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance across manufacturing facilities in India. You will drive reliability, uptime, and asset integrity for mechanical, electrical, and utility systems while leading a technical team.

The role requires 10–15 years in FMCG/food processing and a track record in leadership, planning, and ensuring compliance with GMP, HACCP, and relevant regulations.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in the FMCG/Food Processing industry.
• Minimum 35 years in a Maintenance Manager or similar leadership role.
• Experience with food manufacturing equipment and statutory compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
• Ensure maximum machine uptime and equipment reliability.
• Manage utilities including Boilers, Compressors, Refrigeration, DG Sets, WTP, ETP, and HVAC.
• Lead and develop the maintenance team.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, PM Compliance).
• Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance budget.
• Drive RCA, CAPA, TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, Factory Act, and safety regulations.
• Support installation, commissioning, audits, and automation projects.
