Job summary

EaseBiz FinTech Solutions LLP in Vadodara is seeking an experienced Maintenance Head to lead all maintenance activities for moulds, machines, electrical systems and ancillary equipment, ensuring maximum availability.

You will drive preventive maintenance, analyse breakdowns, manage spares, coordinate with vendors, enforce 5S practices, and prepare maintenance plans with cross-functional teams across Production, Quality and Engineering.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance for moulds, machines, electrical systems and ancillary equipment.
• Ability to review and analyse breakdowns, identify recurring issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Proficient in planning preventive maintenance schedules and maintaining maintenance records.
• Strong focus on 5S, safety, and continuous improvement within maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor overall maintenance activities for moulds, machines, electrical systems, and ancillary equipment.
• Review machine, mould, ancillary, and electrical breakdowns, identify recurring issues, and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Prepare and monitor preventive maintenance plans and schedules for machines, moulds, electrical systems, and other plant equipment.
• Review and maintain mould maintenance reports, mould history records, and maintenance records.
• Monitor mould life and analyse expired/near-expiry moulds based on history and usage records.
• Review preventive maintenance records and ensure activities are completed as per schedule.
• Monitor and review electrical maintenance activities and records to ensure reliable plant operations.
• Inspect new moulds and machines and coordinate for proper installation, commissioning, and readiness.
• Ensure proper implementation of 5S practices within the maintenance department.
• Coordinate with external agencies/vendors for mould, machine, electrical, and ancillary maintenance work.
• Review mould location and inspection records and ensure proper tracking and control of moulds.
• Prepare, review and maintain the critical spare parts list and ensure availability of essential spares.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering and other departments to minimise breakdowns and downtime.
• Analyse maintenance performance and identify opportunities for cost reduction, reliability improvement, and preventive maintenance.
• Conduct monthly maintenance review meetings, evaluate performance, and monitor closure of action points.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with the company's maintenance systems, procedures, and safety requirements.
