Job summary

Sarvottam Polymers is seeking a Jr. Engineer Mould Maintenance to join the Engineering & Mould Maintenance team in India. You will perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of injection moulds, aiming for optimum performance and consistent product quality.

Responsibilities include assembling, dismantling, cleaning, inspecting, and servicing moulds, diagnosing issues, and minimizing downtime. Strong 5S, safety, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of production moulds.
• Familiar with mould assembly, alignment, and servicing.
• Strong problem solving and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of production moulds.
• Assemble, dismantle, clean, inspect, and service moulds as per maintenance schedules.
• Diagnose mould-related issues and perform repairs to minimize production downtime.
• Inspect mould components for wear and recommend replacement of damaged parts.
• Perform polishing, fitting, alignment, and trial of moulds after maintenance.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Tool Room teams to ensure smooth mould availability.
• Maintain mould history records, maintenance logs, and spare parts inventory.
• Assist in mould installation, changeovers, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and preservation of moulds and tooling.
• Follow 5S, safety standards, and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance mould life and production efficiency.
