Job summary

Stelltek Technologies Private Limited (Amber Group) in Delhi seeks an experienced Factory Maintenance & Utility Manager to oversee uptime, reliability, and efficiency of manufacturing equipment, testing systems, utilities, and plant infrastructure.

You will lead preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance, utility management, energy optimization, and automation support to ensure quality production and on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

  • Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance programs for all production and support equipment.
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of SMT lines, PCB assembly equipment, wave soldering machines, and material handling systems.
  • Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis of mechanical, electrical, electronic, and automation-related failures.
  • Minimize production downtime through effective maintenance planning and execution.
  • Prepare annual maintenance schedules and shutdown plans.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee maintenance operations, utility management, asset reliability, and energy optimization.
  • Support PLC, SCADA, HMI, VFD, and industrial automation systems.
  • Coordinate maintenance of automated production lines and robotics systems.
  • Implement predictive maintenance techniques such as vibration analysis, thermography, and condition monitoring.

Role & responsibilities

The Factory Maintenance & Utility Manager is responsible for ensuring maximum uptime, reliability, and efficiency of all manufacturing equipment, testing systems, utilities, and plant infrastructure in a power and electronics manufacturing facility. The role leads maintenance operations, utility management, asset reliability, energy optimization, automation support, safety compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives to support quality production and customer delivery requirements.

Preferred candidate profile
1. Maintenance Management
  • Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance programs for all production and support equipment.
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of SMT lines, PCB assembly equipment, wave soldering machines, reflow ovens, testing equipment, assembly lines, and material handling systems.
  • Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis of mechanical, electrical, electronic, and automation-related failures.
  • Minimize production downtime through effective maintenance planning and execution.
  • Prepare annual maintenance schedules and shutdown plans.
2. Utility Management

  • Maintain and monitor electrical infrastructure including substations, transformers, HT/LT panels, bus ducts, MCCs, PCCs, and distribution systems.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate electrical inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Oversee energy management and power factor improvement initiatives.
  • Analysed power quality issues affecting sensitive manufacturing equipment.
4. Automation & Equipment Reliability
  • Support PLC, SCADA, HMI, VFD, and industrial automation systems.
  • Coordinate maintenance of automated production lines and robotics systems.
  • Develop reliability improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance.
  • Implement predictive maintenance techniques such as vibration analysis, thermography, and condition monitoring.
