Job summary

Haier Appliances in Pune district requires a Maintenance Engineer to handle operation & maintenance of plant utilities, including transformers, DGs, UPS, and HVAC systems. You will troubleshoot DOL/star-delta starters, PM-BM panels, and ensure preventive maintenance as per plan.

Role focuses on keeping all utility equipment running, meeting KPI readings, and maintaining 6S safety standards while controlling spare parts usage and storage efficiency.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with operation and maintenance of plant utilities.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical equipment including starters and switchgear.
• Knowledge of PM schedules and 6S safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operation & Maintenance knowledge of Transformers, DGs, UPS, Breakers, HT-LT systems, Earthing, Compressors, HVACs, Lighting, Cooling towers, Fire Pumps, WTP, RO, STP-ETP, Elevators.
• Hands on experience & trouble-shooting of DOL-starter, Star delta starter, PDB panels, PM-BM.
• Ensure smooth operation of all utility equipment; prevent production downtime due to utility failures.
• Timely readings and report preparations as per defined KPI.
• Regular maintenance of all utility-related machines; ensure preventive maintenance as per plan.
• Maintain safety and 6S standards; close NCs on time.
• Maintain proper usage of spare parts; keep storage area organized.
• Run plant at high efficiency across output, quality, safety, and costs.

• Operation & Maintenance knowledge of Utilities like Transformers, DGs, UPS, Breakers, HT-LT system, Earthing, Compressors-dryers, HVAC’s, Lighting, Cooling towers, Fire Pump, WTP, RO, STP-ETP, Elevators
• Hands on experience & trouble-shooting of DOL-starter, Star delta starter, PDB panels, PM-BM
• Ensure the smooth operation of all the utility equipment's/plant. There should not be any breakdowns of utility which affects production.
• Timely readings taking & report preparations & sharing as per defined KPI
• Regular maintenance of all utility related machines and equipment's for smooth operations and Ensure the preventive maintenance of all utility related machines are being done as per plan.
• Ensure the safety and 6S standard of the factory is maintained as per standard and close NC on time.
• Responsible for maintaining proper usage of spare parts and ensure storage area is organized and kept properly.
• Ensure that the plant is operating at the highest levels of efficiency in all dimensions including output, quality, safety and overtime costs.
