Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including inbound/outbound transport and distribution.
Plan and monitor daily logistics activities for timely, cost-effective movement of goods.
Coordinate with warehouses, transporters, vendors, suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
Evaluate logistics vendors, negotiate rates, and monitor service performance.
Track costs, delivery timelines, freight expenses, and overall logistics efficiency.
Ensure documentation and compliance for dispatches, shipments, and deliveries.
Monitor shipments and resolve delays, damages, shortages, or issues.
Coordinate with warehouse teams for inventory movement and availability.
Develop processes to improve OTIF delivery performance.
Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement.
Monitor KPIs and prepare MIS reports for management.
Ensure adherence to quality, safety, regulatory, and company requirements for healthcare products.
Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, and Warehouse teams.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to manage and optimize end-to-end logistics and distribution operations. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in logistics planning, transportation management, warehousing coordination, inventory movement, vendor management, and regulatory compliance.

Candidates with experience in the Pharmaceutical, Surgical Instruments, Medical Devices, or related healthcare industries will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including inbound and outbound transportation, distribution, and delivery operations.
Plan and monitor daily logistics activities to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
Coordinate with warehouses, transporters, vendors, suppliers, customers, and internal teams for smooth logistics operations.
Manage and evaluate logistics and transportation vendors, including rate negotiations and service-level performance.
Monitor transportation costs, delivery timelines, freight expenses, and overall logistics efficiency.
Ensure proper documentation and compliance related to dispatches, transportation, and deliveries.
Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, damages, shortages, or other operational issues.
Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure proper inventory movement and availability.
Develop and implement processes to improve OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery performance.
Identify opportunities for logistics cost optimization and process improvement.
Monitor logistics KPIs and prepare regular MIS and performance reports for management.
Ensure adherence to applicable quality, safety, regulatory, and company compliance requirements, particularly for pharmaceutical/medical products.
Work closely with the Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, and Warehouse teams to align logistics operations with business requirements.
Lead and manage the logistics team, ensuring productivity, discipline, and adherence to operational processes.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of relevant experience in logistics, transportation, distribution, or supply chain operations.
Strong experience in end-to-end logistics management.
Experience managing logistics vendors, transporters, freight costs, and delivery schedules.
Good understanding of warehouse and distribution processes.
Strong analytical, negotiation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Experience in logistics MIS, KPI monitoring, and cost optimization.
Good knowledge of ERP/SAP or other logistics management systems.
Strong team management and stakeholder-management capabilities.
