Job summary

PhillipCapital India is seeking an Associate in Learning & Development to support the Head of L&D in coordinating, executing, and tracking training and induction initiatives across the organization. You will ensure timely nominations, smooth delivery of sessions, and maintain up-to-date training records for all employees.

The role emphasizes cross-functional coordination, vendor liaison, and the delivery of internal training programs and inductions.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in L&D or training/induction coordination.
• Strong coordination and follow-up skills with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint for trackers and decks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree; HR/L&D certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with HODs across departments for training scheduling, nominations, and attendance tracking.
• Liaise with external vendors, trainers, and content partners for logistics, scheduling, contracting, invoicing, and feedback collection.
• Support planning and execution of weekly product/service training sessions for internal employees.
• Assist in planning and conducting induction sessions for new joiners, including scheduling and content coordination.
• Maintain and update the training database, calendars, attendance, and certifications.
• Draft training communications, calendar invites, and reminders to employees and HODs.
• Track training effectiveness through feedback forms and post-training reports.
• Support L&D Head in preparing training MIS/reports for leadership review.
• Identify training needs across departments through coordination with HODs.

Role Overview

We are looking for an L&D Associate to support the Learning & Development function at PhillipCapital India. This role will work closely with the L&D Head to coordinate, execute, and track training and induction initiatives across the organization ensuring smooth delivery, timely nominations, and an up-to-date training record for all employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with HODs across departments for training scheduling, nominations, and attendance tracking
• Liaise with external vendors, trainers, and content partners for training logistics scheduling, contracting, invoicing follow-ups, and feedback collection
• Support planning and execution of weekly product/service training sessions for internal employees
• Assist in planning and conducting induction sessions for new joiners, including scheduling, coordination with HODs/departments for induction content, and logistics
• Maintain and update the training database session records, attendance, certifications, and training calendars
• Draft training and induction communications, calendar invites, and reminders to employees and HODs
• Track training effectiveness through feedback forms, attendance data, and post-training reports
• Support the L&D Head in preparing training MIS/reports for leadership review
• Help identify training needs across departments through coordination with HODs

Requirements

1. 1-3 years of experience in L&D or training/induction coordination (financial services background is a plus but not mandatory)
2. Strong coordination and follow-up skills - comfortable managing multiple stakeholders (HODs, vendors, employees) simultaneously
3. Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets for maintaining training trackers and databases; PowerPoint for training decks/reports
4. Excellent written and verbal communication
5. Minimum Bachelor's degree or Masters degree (Optional) in any discipline; HR/L&D certification is a plus
