Job summary

Fabtech in Pune invites applications for a Quality Control Inspector with focus on fabrication and codes. You will interpret ASME Sec VIII, Sec IX, EN and IBR codes and review WPS and PQR, as well as welder qualifications, to ensure compliance.

You will coordinate and execute NDT activities including RT, UT, PT, MT and VT, oversee inspection gauges and instruments, and collaborate with fabrication teams to ensure high standards and safe, reliable results on oil and gas projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 2–4 years of QC experience in Oil & Gas projects.
• Experience with ASME Sec VIII & Sec IX, EN and IBR codes.

Responsibilities

• Quality inspection for fabrication and code interpretation.
• Coordinate and execute NDT activities (RT, UT, PT, MT, VT).
• Review WPS, PQR and welder qualifications; inspect gauges and instruments.
