Job summary

Technip Energies is seeking a Supervisor/ Manager QC/ QA/NCT to join our team in Dahej, Gujarat. You will co-ordinate mechanical QC activities, oversee all QC work for equipment, structures, piping and skids, and ensure proper documentation and compliance with ASME/ISO standards.

Ideal candidates bring 10–12 years in large fabrication shops, with 7+ years in QC, and hold a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering along with relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• 10-12 years of experience in medium/large fabrication shops with 7+ years in QC.
• Diploma or degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Production).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor mechanical QC activities.
• Handle all QC work related to Equipment, Structures, Piping & Heater/Furnace, Skids; review and approval, documentation and record keeping.
• Technical communication (verbal & written).
• Shall prepare interpret WPS/PQR/WPQ/Welder lists per ASME/ISO standards.
• Interpret codes, standards, specifications and procedures; participate in audits.
• Maintain knowledge of IS, IBR, ASME, TEMA, DIN, EN, AWS D1.1 and related standards; oversee welding processes.

We are currently seeking a Supervisor/ Manager QC/ QA/NCT, to join our team based in Dahej, Gujarat.

Responsibilities

• Able to co-ordinate and monitor mechanical QC activities.
• Handling all QC work related to Equipment, Structures, Piping & Heater/Furnace, Skids activities , review and approval, documentation and record keeping.
• Technical Communication (Verbal & Written)
• Self-motivated and result oriented
• Good internal networking and team player
• Shall have ASNT/EN ISO Level II in RT, MT, PT, UT & Welding Certification, CSWIP with Hands On.
• Must know different welding processes and inspection.
• Shall be able to prepare interpret WPS/PQR/WPQ/Welder list as per ASME/ISO Standards
• Shall have experience and certification in AWS/CSWIP and API Standards of pressure vessel (preferable)
• Interpret codes, standards, specifications, and procedures.
• should have attended various Audits
• should have sufficient practical background in applicable materials, fabrication, and product technology
• Knowledge of: National and International Codes & Standards- IS, IBR, ASME, TEMA, DIN, EN, AWS D1. 1 etc. & relevant experience
• Welding processes : SAW, ESSC, SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, GMAW
• Metallurgy : CS, LAS, SS, Duplex/Super Duplex, non-ferrous materials such as Monel, Inconel, Titanium, etc.
• Heat Treatment methods
