Job summary

Nuvotec Titanium Process Equipment is seeking a seasoned QA/QC professional for heavy fabrication environments in India. The role covers material and stage inspections, WPS/PQR witnessing, and ensuring conformance to ISO 9001-2015, ASME, TEMA and API codes.

You will train teams, manage audits, and coordinate with third-party inspectors. Ideal candidates will hold ASNT Level II and have extensive welding procedures knowledge across carbon steel, stainless steel, and exotic alloys like titanium

Qualifications

• 15–20 years of QA/QC experience in heavy fabrication.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001-2015, ASME, TEMA, API codes.
• ASNT Level II certification for RT/UT/MPI/LPI.
• Welding procedures for carbon steel, stainless steel and exotic materials like titanium and nickel alloys.
• Strong documentation, audit coordination, and training abilities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials and perform stage inspections at all fabrication stages.
• Oversee manufacturing processes, stage inspections, and clearance during production.
• Witness WPS, PQR and approve welders.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, ASME, TEMA and API codes and manage audits.
• Maintain documentation and records; ensure correct inspection procedures.
• Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies for inspections and approvals.
• Study equipment drawings and provide correct instructions to production team.
• Educate workforce on new processes, safety materials, welding and procedures.
• Conduct vendor inspections and quality checks of ordered products/materials.

Role & responsibilities

• Inspection of incoming materials and Stage inspection for manufactured equipment at all stages.
• Knowledge on manufacturing process, stage inspection and clearance during equipment manufacturing process.
• Knowledge in Witnessing WPS, PQR and approval of welders.
• Knowledge in ISO, ASME, TEMA & API codes and responsible for training and managing teams for respective audits.
• Responsible for right documentation and maintaining the codes. inspection procedures and records.
• Co-ordinating with third party inspection agencies for inspections & approvals.
• Knowledge in study of equipment drawings and giving right instructions to production team.
• Educating the workforce on new processes, safety material, welding and other procedures to workmen and shop floor team.
• Vendor inspections and quality checks of ordered products / materials.

Preferred candidate profile

• Candidate should have 15-20 years experience in QA/QC function in any heavy fabrication industry. Exotic materials fabrication industry is preferable.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001-2015 standard, ASME, TEMA & API codes etc codes.
• Candidate must be ASNT level II for RT, UT, MPI & LPI
• Should have good knowledge of welding procedures on carbon steel, stainless steel and exotic materials like titanium & Nickel alloys.
