Job summary

Nirmal Group is seeking a skilled HR professional to spearhead manpower planning and industrial relations to ensure smooth 24x7 operations. The role covers policy implementation for recruitment, deployment, performance management, and succession, with emphasis on compliance and health & safety.

You will drive training, assess direct reports, and foster employee engagement while maintaining IMS standards and workforce welfare.

Responsibilities

• Plan manpower availability to support 24x7 operations as per schedules.
• Drive HR policies for manpower planning, recruitment, deployment, performance management, compensation and succession.
• Maintain a harmonious industrial relations environment for regular and contractual staff.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, industrial relations, security, and health and wellbeing regulations; manage stakeholder relations.
• Identify training needs and arrange development programs for direct reports and teams.
• Assess performance and provide constructive feedback and guidance.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed across the division.
• Drive IMS standards compliance and process alignment.
• Foster employee engagement and assist in building team competencies.

Job description

A. Manpower Planning and ensuring availability

• Ensure manpower availability as per operational plans to ensure smooth operations 24x7.
• Drive and implement HR policies, methods and timelines for manpower planning, recruitment and deployment, performance management, compensation and succession planning in an efficient manner

B. Maintain Harmonious Industrial Relations

• Provide a positive work environment for regular and contractual employees to maximise the engagement in adherence to various compliance

C. Regulatory and industrial compliance

• Ensure timely compliance to all regulations regarding labour laws, industrial relations, security, health and employee well being.
• Manage the relation with all the internal and external stakeholders of the unit e.g. local Govt authorities, villagers, local politicians, local police, environmentalist etc including factory manpower in an effective way.
• Identify the training and development needs of direct reports and their team and undertake relevant programs.
• Assess the performance of direct reports and provide them with developmental feedback and support.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within the division.

F. Health & Safety

• Drive the implementation and strict adherence of the different Health & Safety systems in the plant internal and external audits compliance etc.

G. IMS Standards

• Ensure Compliance to Various IMS Standards and Processes

H. Employee Engagement

• Ensure Employee Engagement in the plant Team & Help in development of the competency of the team members.
