Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited seeks an experienced tester for infotainment certification across Android Auto, CarPlay, and Alexa. You will define test scenarios, execute pre-certification activities, and coordinate with OEMs.

The role demands hands-on testing across Infotainment/Cluster/Connectivity/Apps, with understanding of XTS (CTS/VTS) and certification processes. Collaboration with Apple/Google and 3PL will be key, plus strong defect tracking and communication skills.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in Electrical & Electronics or Electronics & Instrumentation.
• Experience with Android Auto, CarPlay and Alexa testing and pre-certification.
• Familiarity with Infotainment system test suites and CTS/VTS.
• Knowledge of certification processes for mobile and vehicle integrations.

Responsibilities

• Write and execute test cases for Infotainment/Cluster/Connectivity/Apps.
• Oversee full test cycle for Android XTS, CTS and VTS.
• Coordinate with OEMs, Apple, Google for requirements and clarifications.
• Monitor defects and report status using Jira/Polarion.
• Collaborate with Scrum teams and manage requirements with DOORS/Polarion.

Job description

Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:

1. Responsible for Android Auto/Apple CarPlay/Alexa Certification from OEM to Launch of Product.

2. Shall able to understand the system requirement for Infotainment / Cluster/ Connectivity / Apps/AR-HUD and Write the Test case for testing.

3. Responsible for Full Test Cycle for Android XTS (CTS,VTS) , Android Auto Testing and CarPlay Testing

4. Fully Understanding on the MFi Apple CarPlay, Alexa and Google Android Auto Portals

5. Responsible on analyzing the New Requirements of Android Auto/ CarPlay Latest Spec to understand the Hardware and Software changes in the System.

6.Test monitoring and reporting, defect tracking and supportive functions

7. Interaction with 3PL, Apple, Google on the Requirements Clarifications.

8. Responsible on the Waiver and Exception creation and submission to Apple/Google.

Experience

6 - 10 years of experience

Industry Preferred

Preferably Automotive and Tier 1 who supplies Infotainment system

Qualifications

BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in Electrical & Electronics or Electronics & Instrumentation

General Requirements

1. Experience on all the Test Tools FACET ,CarPlay Test App, ATS Utility ,Android Auto – Pre-Certification Test Suite ,Alexa Pre-Certification Activities(Acoustic Testing, BVT, AQT Testing) and XTS compliance (VTS, CTS)

2. Good Technical Knowledge on the Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Alexa Projection Technologies and Certification process

3. Experience on all the Defect Tracker Usages(Logging the issues) Jira ,Polarion SharePoint ,Confluence Page

4. Experience in working with Scrum Teams
Skilled in using DOORS, Polarion [preferable] or any other requirement management system

5. Good negotiation and influencing skills – demonstrates

6.Good analytical, problem solving, interpersonal skills with an effective communication and presentation ability

7. Requirement and Defect Management tools: IBM DNG, IBM RTC, JIRA, SVN
