Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Lead Business Analyst - Regulatory Reporting in Bengaluru to drive non-financial regulatory reporting initiatives (EMIR, etc.).

You will lead root-cause analysis, solution design, and governance across global frameworks, coordinating with stakeholders and technology teams for successful delivery. The role emphasizes BRD/FRD documentation, strong stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure compliant solutions across OTC/ETD regimes.

Qualifications

• 10–14 years of IT experience with strong business analysis
• Proficiency in gathering and documenting requirements (BRD/FRD)
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination
• Experience with regulatory reporting for OTC and ETD products
• Understanding US/MIFID/MiFIR/EMIR regulations across regimes

Responsibilities

• Build project governance structures aligned with existing delivery frameworks
• Create working groups and management forums as needed
• Perform root cause analysis on reporting issues and propose remediation
• Formalize solutions as business requirements for stakeholder approval
• Define back-reporting requirements for affected trade populations when applicable
• Translate requirements to technology and operations teams for resolution
• Develop solution design documentation with operations and engineering
• Assist with user acceptance testing prior to production releases
• Confirm delivered solutions meet business requirements and address root issues
• Deliver weekly progress metrics to governance functions and escalate RAID items
