Job summary

EXL Talent Acquisition Team is seeking a Lead Assistant Manager for Premium Accounting Services to join our Order to Cash-AR team in India. The role expects 6-9 years of experience in Order to Cash-AR analysis and leadership responsibilities.

You will oversee allocation and reconciliation of receivables across ledgers, drive timely invoicing and payment processing, and provide MI to stakeholders while identifying cost efficiencies and risks in line with company policies.

Qualifications

• Experience of 6–9 years in Order to Cash-AR Analysis.
• Lead Assistant Manager for Order to Cash role.

Responsibilities

• Allocate and reconcile receivables across ledgers; reduce debt cost-effectively.
• Reconcile customer payments; investigate debt issues; maximize debt collection within costs and standards.
• Work with business stakeholders to support decision making.
• Process invoices, credit notes, refunds, write-offs across platforms and ledgers within timescales; reconcile AR ledgers and resolve issues.
• Provide timely and accurate management information covering accountabilities and objectives.
• Ensure all payments are banked in a timely manner for clients.
• Identify and deliver cost reductions or process efficiencies via continuous improvement; manage risks per policies.

Lead Assistant manager for Order to Cash role

Responsibilities

To provide a high standard of allocation and reconciliation of receivables across all ledgers and reduction of debt owed an effective and efficient manner.

To provide a high standard of customer payments reconciliation, investigation of debt issues taking necessary actions to maximize debt collection within budgeted costs and agreed service standards for multiple ledgers.

This job also requires working with business stakeholders and supporting decision making

To accurately process invoices, credit notes, refunds, write offs across operating platforms and ledgers within agreed timescales. Reconciliation of various AR ledgers and identifying and targeting issues through stakeholder management, to ensure effective resolution.

Excellent customer service for all stakeholders. Provide timely and accurate management information (“MI”) covering accountabilities and objectives.

Excellent service for Client's customers by ensuring all payments are banked in a timely manner.

Identifying and delivering cost reductions and / or process efficiencies as a result of continuous improvement initiatives across all processes. Identify, own and manage the risks appropriate to the role, in line with Client's Policies.
