• Escalate unresolved issues to L3 and apply approved changes.
• Maintain incident records and daily operational reports.
• Assist in asset inventory tagging and PAM directory integration.

Job description

We are hiring for network security L2 - Gurgaon/Bangalore Location.

Requirement: Engineering graduate or MCA

Educational Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA/ MSc (CS/IT)

Work Mode: WFO 6 days

More than 5 years of IT experience, out of which at least 3 years in dealing with Cyber Security systems and operations

Hands-on experience with basic troubleshooting, VPN, and NGFW

Exposure to monitoring tools and basic server/VM environments

Familiar with Firewall ,Load Balancer, WAF,API Security, Switches (KVM and Network), Forward Proxy ,HCI Severs ,VPN Solution, PAM and ticketing and monitoring tools.

Certifications (Any one of the following):

• CompTIA Security+/CEH/ECSA
• CCNA Routing & Switching/Security or equivalent.
• ITIL v4 Foundation
• CompTIA Network+

Primary Role & Responsibilities: Handle daily operational tasks, first-line troubleshooting, and ensure systems are running as expected.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure backup jobs (configurations, logs, rule sets) are completed successfully.
• Assist in asset inventory management and ensure tagging/labeling is up to date.
• Create and track tickets on ITSM (Service Requests, Incidents, etc.).
• Conduct routine health checks, log reviews, and apply standard SOPs.
• Escalate unresolved or complex issues to L3.
• Apply approved configuration changes and patch updates under L3 and SMEs guidance.
• Maintain daily operational reports and incident records.
• Integrate PAM with directory services (LDAP/AD) and define privilege policies.
• Provide user support for VPN, proxy access, or authentication-related issues.
• Execute VA scans under defined schedules and report deviations.
